did you know according to project vote smart theres no way you can be best suited for romeny and not be equally suited for Rick Santorum? there posititions to all the questions they ask are the same so they always come out with the same percentage.

Barack Obama - 18%
Ron Paul - 89%
Mitt Romney - 81%
Newt Gingrich - 74%

Although, I think that tool changes things too much if you rate something as 'not important'.

do you think it is shocking that Republicans tend to agree on many issues?

The VoteSmart poll mainly asks questions that are important to liberals and fails to ask many questions that are important to conservatives. For example, "Do you think a track record of executive experience is an important for a candidate?" That gives Romney a decided advantage over Santorum. The poll only asks ideological questions. Liberals care far more about ideology than competence, so such things do not enter into their equation. Romney and Santorum also differ on union support and earmarks. Santorum talks more about social issues; some Republicans think that's good, others think it's a distraction from more important issues.

The only question on national security is whether it's okay to snipe terrorists off the battle field. Nothing about Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran getting nukes, GITMO, Libya-style intervention, Arab Spring, support for Israel, or any of a dozen other important issues. The points they have chosen might serve to distinguish Democrats from Republicans, but not among Republican candidates.

Problem is, like every candidate before them without exception, will sell out the American people and the country.
Beware of the people who are in your circle but are not in your corner.

And with the stroke of a pen people 18 to 21 who own a gun became criminals and public enemy #1 having committed no crime and having said nothing. Just like the Jews in Germany during WW2. Must be a weird feeling.

When I hear people crying and whining about their first world problems I think about the universe with everything in it and people in wheelchairs and all of their problems go away.

LOL. The best match is (Who the hell is) Gary Johnson, with 60%, and the two people I disagree with the most are Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum, with 43% similar.

My Score:

Ron Paul: 88%. Best Match
Gary Johnson: 86%
Rick Santorum: 85%
Mitt Romney: 85%
Buddy Roemer: 82%
Newt Gingrich: 77%
Barack Obama: 29%

So I guess that disspells all of the accusations that my username should not be Ron Paul.

Gary Johnson is the former gov of nm and was running for the republicans but dropped out to be a libertarian.
