I wouldn't mind taking up that debate. Just send me the challenge if you want

my teacher made me argue pro gay marriage and anti guns and pro obama. (we debate in history)

pro gay marriage -----> Fine ok

Pro Obama ------> Livable still agh

anti guns -----> Too far! You can debar me of all my freedoms, but I like my guns!!

I think about opposing arguments to mine all the time. The one thing that is glaringly common in almost all opposing arguments to mine.... The opposing argument is almost always based on feelings and devoid of all logic. I can't debate the opposing side because my feelings have nothing to do with my thinking process with regard to all things not immediate to my family. And even still feelings are only considered rarely. Making decisions based on feelings is the worst possible way to make any decision. I can't debate that which is devoid of logic and common sense.
It's not your views that divide us, it's what you think my views should be that divides us.

If you think I will give up my rights and forsake social etiquette to make you "FEEL" better you are sadly mistaken

If liberal democrats would just stop shooting people gun violence would drop by 90%
