North Korea is complying with outside nations and is suspending some of its weapons programs in exchange for food imports to stave off a potentially nationwide famine from striking the nation again?

Thoughts? Im jumping for joy over here :D

This

It won't last 4 months; especially when they see how ridiculous our gas prices are.

Well, for the end of famine, the government needs to start FEEDING his people; one thing they aren't doing any time soon. :(

They agreed to a moratorium because of famine. I hope they don't have to regret it like Libya.

This isn't the first time they've initially agreed to these things and then reneged. Secondly, the technology is there to restart another nuclear program. So even supposing they went through with it, they would get the food and still rebuild (or hide) their nuclear assets.

In short, I'm not buying it. If they want to feed their people, they should do what China did, which is concede that capitalism is a trillion times superior to communism, and have a healthy economy.

Why does this become the burden of the U.S.?

They are allied with China as Enemies of the USA in a current cease Fire. Where the Nukes are housed is kinda silly. Not to mention I wasn't aware truth was a principle of Communism.
