I cannot do any debates for a week or so, I have a youth in government activity that lasts about 5 days a week from Wednesday. It is like "teenager politics", when high school students imitate the state government with bills, etc.

1. Nuclear power should be prohibited.
2. Oil is a better source of energy than renewable energy sources.
3. Natural Gas is an ideal energy source for America's future.
4. The coal industry should be more regulated.

Sound and read better in my opinion. It is vital that the meaning of 'ideal' and 'better' are agreed upon in round one.

The difference between your reworded version and his original is funny actually.
