Global warming?

The evidence seems to show a flat line and actually a current decrease...

lol being a contrarian is fun until you realize the title wave of evidence destroys your little piece to the contrary.

There is only little evidence for the claim, the NASA data from satellites, that's about it...

ice caps melting, animal migration patterns often triggered by seasonal changes are being observed, theres a nice little hole in the ozone, droughts are getting worse, wait a minute........... since when did NASA become a bad source of information???

Ice caps growing.....

NASA is good but him and al gore is all you got essentially, a few others, but those are the only ones. There may be only modest heating, at most.

This is not evidence; this is nothing more than the "Water Cooler" section , which contains opinion pieces. That "evidence" was three lines long.

Have any better "evidence" about the ice caps?

The Greenland Ice sheet also has been growing ~5cm per year

animal migration patterns often triggered by seasonal changes are being observed, theres a nice little hole in the ozone,

According to a 4 year study by the UNEP and WMO, which ended in 2010, the ozone is no longer depleting, which means CFCs are not to blame, as the ban on CFCs are too recent to have any effect, due to CFCs' life span.

droughts are getting worse, wait a minute........... since when did NASA become a bad source of information???

That doesn't have to do with warming, that has to do with prolonged lack of precipitation.

For anyone who has gotten into investing/trading, they know what a trend is. An upward trend is defined as a time period with higher highs and higher lows, and a downward trend is a time period with lower lows and lower highs.

From the satellite temperature record, we have no evidence of a long-term warming trend. We instead have two clear horizontal time periods. We haven't set any new records since 1999, even though CO2 is still climbing. My opinion is that our shift into a higher horizontal trend was caused by something(possibly volcanic or solar activity), but the earth is very much in a horizontal trend. Looking at long-term historical records, it appears we may be leveling off at the peak of the most recent major climb. Don't be surprised if we stick around this level for some time, or start to cool slightly.
