I stand that the Republican candidates pose little to no threat to Obama. Discuss.

Just something id like to point out: the republican candidates have often said false things about the constitution, uphold stupid ideology, and focus on unattainable goals.

I intend to vote for him but for all the wrong reasons. I want socialism cramed down Americas throat. The America people deserve all the tyranny it has to offer. I want to see capitolism and the freemarket system flushed down the toilet once and for all. And then and only then will people who embrace socialism as utopia see for themselves how it will strip them of all their liberties in the name and the good of the state.
It's not your views that divide us, it's what you think my views should be that divides us.

If you think I will give up my rights and forsake social etiquette to make you "FEEL" better you are sadly mistaken

Obama would not be good for America. Whether he is better than some of the other awful candidates is up for debate, and heavily depends on your preferences.

I don't think this is true.. It's just my opinion, cuz I don't want to find polling results, but I believe most Americans want both economic and social liberty (and free stuff if they can get it).. since neither party promises both, we have the constant pendulum effect that we see.

That depends on how you defined government, but that's not the point. The idea that anarchists think that the ONLY thing that would be good for America is the abolition of the State is a complete strawman. Lots of other things could be good for America. A good crop season, more relaxed drug laws, a growing economy, etc.

Vote for Obama and be done with it once and for all. All this tyring to mix socialism with capitolism and the freemarket is a waste of resources and everyones time.

Nope, you are wrong about me as usual. I really do hope Obama wins, I am going to vote for him, America deserves what he has to offer and I hope he delivers.

Au contraire, I'd say the Democrats'/liberal understanding of the constitution these days is either just as bad or worse than most Republicans'. This whole living constitution thing? Justifying things the Founding Fathers were on record as saying would destroy the country? Totally defeats the purpose of having a constitution. With this interpretation the fact is you are left with little more than a blank piece of paper - as James Madison famously warned if the "general welfare clause" were to be interpreted as many liberals interpret it today - that can be used to justify almost any government expenditure.

Out of all the candidates running for President, only Ron Paul really cares about the oath of office to uphold the constitution. His agenda is the Constitutional agenda. If any of the other candidates say they care about the constitution, it's either lip service, or it happens to be that a part of their agenda overlaps with that of the constitution. Usually it doesn't even overlap...
