I'm making a video documentary on the United States in Adobe flash for a school project and am wondering which events you would want to see. Obviously we would have the War of Independence and the Civil War, but i would like a survey of some of the things you want to see on the video.

The defense of Fort McHenry seems to be rather important.

I don't think I'd do a documentary that's just a lot of history, but rather I'd delve into what makes us different than other countries, why and how we are different than our Canadian neighbors, or Europeans. The American spirit is quite different, and often hard to understand. We are usually categorized horribly by the left, but that's because we represent everything that the left hates.

How does our history define who we are in our cultural identity and all that is good and all that is bad about what it is to be an American.

Actually, that's not a bad idea. THank you for the suggestion.

And DanT, thanks for your contribution, but this is to be no more than 5 minutes. Remember, this is also being developed in macromedia flash.
