Greece actually might be better off because it can inflate their currency after leaving.

Btw, congrats conservatives, you pretty much just won the election. The euro slip is going to hit america and make it look like we're in a sudden recession caused by Obama.

Idk... I don't want to totally hijack this thread, but I predict that Obama wins vs. Romney no matter how bad the economy is. The Republicans aren't unified behind him, nobody is passionate about him, he's a notorious flip-flopper, and this flip-flopping will get even worse when he must appeal to the general population as opposed to just the far right of the Republican Party. Obama will destroy him on this and paint him successfully as an untrustworthy flip-flopper.

Which is a shame for the Republicans because yes, the euro slip will hit USA and with the economy already the way it is, it'd never be easier to win an election against an incumbent. Mitt Romney's campaign is the best thing that ever happened to Obama's re-election chances.

Better off in the short run, yes.
In the long run? Only if they were to get a responsible government which knew when to stop inflating. Will they?

Every Republican is unified against Obama. You underestimate how much the Right hates him.

You've very much misconstrued what has been said, similar to the article. Greece won't leave the eurozone, for many reasons. One of which being Greece does not want to leave. The other main one being the EU doesn't want Greece to leave. I'd be happy to debate on whether Greece will leave Eurozone on June 18th.

If the election goes through as projected Greece will be out of the Eurozone come June 18th.

Discuss.

I applaud Greece for finally wising up. The EU is a suicide pact.
