Judging by your big issues, it is correct.

I got close to the same score as you did and was surprised at how far to the right it put me. I'm really not that conservative of a person. At least, I don't look at myself that way. I'm willing to accept where I am on the libertarian scale which is close to the center.

Right. I once got put by the center and I thought that was off.

If you are talking about the political compass, it got the collectivist vs individualist scale correct as a sociopolitical scale, but it misrepresented left and right as socioeconomic when really it's sociocultural.
Left wingers are reformists, while right wingers are traditionalists. It has nothing to do with economics; that is just popular misinformation.

Yet Gallup polls indicate that most people are right wing. Interesting.

Leftist libertarian is oxymoronic. The whole notion of liberal economics is government intervention and the imposition of government onto the economic freedom of the citizens. Libertarianism is the freedom from oppressive government control. As a result, the two of them cannot co-exist.

The only true for of libertarianism is rightist libertarianism or minarchy.

Cool, I'm a left libertarian

That's closer to a social liberal, or a Progressive. I'm not too far from that. Very close actually.

Liberal economics is laissez faire economics.
(n) liberalism (an economic theory advocating free competition and a self-regulating market)

I think you are confusing economic liberalism with economic progressivism.

Libertarianism is the freedom from oppressive government control. As a result, the two of them cannot co-exist.

The only true for of libertarianism is rightist libertarianism or minarchy.

Right wing Libertarianism is minarcism.
Left wing Libertarianism is anarchism.

Left wing are reformers, and right wing are traditionalists. Left wing libertarians wish to abolish the state, and right wing libertarians wish to minimize and limit the power and authority of the state.

(n) left wing (those who support varying degrees of social or political or economic change designed to promote the public welfare)
wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn?s=left+wing
(n) right, right wing (those who support political or social or economic conservatism; those who believe that things are better left unchanged)

Right

And with just cause. It's entirely too... well... superficial and plastic to capture the sum of a person's beliefs.

Before you get insight, I first need to know where/if you read/watch the news.

But it does give you a good overview - a ballpark estimate. It won't pinpoint you but it will give you a pretty accurate area.

News sources: Drudgereport, Fox News, AP, USA Today

Mostly Drudgereport, they give the best links and a comprehensive overview of the daily news.
