Well, that got my attention. Should have made that the thread title.

Why should it be banned again?

Wait, so you concede that prohibition won't work, and despite the monetary cost of prohibition, the crime it creates, and the rights/freedoms it infringes upon, you still say "thank goodness its banned"? I'd think that conceding that prohibiting a drug won't work would not be compatible with thanking goodness that it is legally prohibited.

I know, it's irrational. It sounds like he wants prohibition so that he can feel a false sense of moral reassurance.

Yeah I get it now... It's a synthetic that has been classified schedule 1 by the DEA and is already banned...

Totally irrational. And of course, his false sense of moral reassurance - even if it were not "false" - cannot justify prohibition given its general lack of successfully deterring drug use, increases in crime, immense cost, and freedoms/rights it infringes upon.

I don't get how anyone can support the modern War On Drugs. It's a failure from every point of view - whether you're concerned solely about its morality, solely about its consequences, solely about the investments it requires... It's one big failure all around.

I thought it was 90%+.

I feel really bad for that guy. Evidently he got an eye as well.

Am I the only one that thought this cop was being a complete douche?

Like, serious... I was tres disgusted by that cop's behavior.

Giggling like that, filming it clearly with his phone... what a fvcking douchebag.

If he were really concerned about the affects and safety of that drug, he would have taken that kid to the hospital and rendered an official report of the facts about the case.

Ugh.
