Not sure If its a good thing Bill O'reilly is at the top. He seems to just shout populist nonsense more than anything. Just seems more of a fail on humanity.

I've watched Hannity before when there was nothing else on. He's good. I usually don't watch the news in general, unless you count Stossel.

I agree wholeheartedly.

I'd be ashamed if Comedy Central got more "news" viewers than my actual news program.

Bill O'Reilly is a floppy penis. He's entertaining because I have a hard time figuring out whether he's a comedian or not.

If you people consider these pundits to be "the news", you are just as pitiful as the people who get their news from comedy central.

Hannity is the worst.. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

O'reilly's ridiculous.. but he does have people come on who argue with him.. and at least usually allows for a voicing of other notions.. sometimes arguing with legitimate points, more often dismissing them altogether.. but still.. he's not near as annoying as hannity.

And, Colbert's schtick can get a bit annoying sometimes.. but more often he's hilarious... and he wittily gives his points.. Points which are usually much much better than those of Hannity or o'reilly.

I listen to his radio show from time to time.. a little bit..

In what sense do you mean better? If by better you mean entertaining, then O'Reilly is very entertaining to watch. It's hysterical how much of a fool he makes of himself whenever he invites like Jon Stewart or Maher on his show.

What do you have against Hannity?

He takes things out of context and twists the words of everyone that doesn't agree with his ideology. If people even begin to back him into a corner he just shouts and interrupts them until the dialogue is abruptly ended and then he changes the subject. When he takes calls from non-conservatives he'll often just hang up on them if the dialogue gets heated.

Laura Ingraham does this too, and I hate her more because its more pronounced.

She exposes the GOP extremism in areas of this country.

And this thread backs up my position of the conservative media's existence.

Why is that funny? You know people get news from other sources, right...? Sometimes people like to get their news from places that don't blatantly sensationalize stories.

"According to a 2003 Washington Monthly story, about 20 million listeners tune into NPR each week. "

""Morning Edition", is the network's most popular program, drawing 12.9 million listeners a week"

""All Things Considered", a close second, with 12.2 million listeners a week.."

http://en.wikipedia.org...

So you see, all the liberals are listening to the radio instead of watching t.v. If you think these numbers mean anything significant about the value of either the conservative or liberal ideologies, you be wrong.

Yes, if you want to be pedantic about it, that isn't a true statement. If you apply the principle of charity to it- you would understand that I meant "A lot" of liberals- not all of them. Clearly, we can see right there with the OP that liberals watch t.v. as well. And I'm aware of the existence of newspapers. I would have to be stone-cold stupid to believe that all liberals listen to the radio.

My overall point was my last sentence. That is all.
