Government subsidies of education (Con)
Open borders (Pro)
Austrian economic methodology (Praxeology) (Con)
Should we subsidize education?

Yes. Or, rather, arguing against the Austrian idea that it's the only way to know anything about economics, and mathematical models/econometric/etc are useless.

For "government subsidies of education" are you referencing primary, secondary or higher education? And can Pro choose the model on how he/she wants education to be subsidized? For example: with school vouchers or only science/math programs subsidized and not the liberal arts.

Maybe. I was hoping for someone to defend something closer to the current system, but I might debate vouchers.

Are you arguing against current government subsidies for higher education such as grants, loans, scholarships and financial aid for college students? I'd be willing to defend them.

Between the US and every country (well, every country and every country ideally, but I'd like to focus the debate on the US)--open borders as in legal immigration for anyone who wants to come here.

I'm against all government education, but focusing on college subsidies would be fine. It would probably work out better that way, all education is too broad a topic.
