Why Gary Johnson could cost Obama or Romney a win in 2012

Back in May, when Americans Elect, the group formed to put a bipartisan third party ticket on the 2012 presidential ballot, closed shop, everyone stopped talking about whether a third party candidate would enter the race in 2012 -- and the focus since then has been on Obama and Romney in a two person race.

This two person race has been a dead heat for months, and most people expect this to be one of the closest presidential races ever. (The latest Real Clear Politics poll average has Obama at 45.9% compared to Romney at 44.8%.)

Republicans & right-wing indies are more likely to vote Libertarian this year than democrats and left-wing indies.
If Gary pulls a Ross Perot, it will likely go in Obama's favor.

And he would touch Obama voters, just not nearly as much as Romney voters.

Reverse political avatar week. It is on the DDO forums. Everyone has a profile pic of someone with the opposite of what you believe.

Oh and for your add, i don't think Gary Johnson will really touch Obama voters, but i do think he will Romeny's.

I think that a Libertarian President will do extraordinarily well. He will get the democratic support via the liberal social aspects and the right winger for the economic aspects..

Why would someone vote for a candidate who only represents half of their views (social or economic) when there are more popular candidates that represent almost all one's beliefs (Obama and Romney). Only people who are both fiscal conservatives AND social liberals would vote for him for the most part.

Oh ok i see.....

Maybe i should have said it this way, if Gary Johnson wasn't running that would really help Romney out. And let face it, its not like hes gonna win, you'd be throwing your vote away.. anyways that's my opinion.

Sorry, My bad. But first we gotta get one elected. And there's a sign-up list.
2012 is Obama.
2016 is Huntsman
2024 is Cuomo

2032 is open, though.

Obama and Biden are the two most incompitent people ever to walk into the Whitehouse!

Ok we all have feeling and i think that all political people have shown their condolences for the men and women and they should and if they don't they are scum. Tax dollars pay them to say what they say when it comes to these types of things.
Really though he wears me out, really he shouldn't talk when his mouth is full of lies... and i'm not talking about this video, i'm talking about every other thing that he has said. ;)
