There is no doubt, that time is ticking for Romney to pick his vice presidential candidate, but who will it be? According to Intrade, Rob Portman is in the lead. Then comes Tim Pawlenty and then Paul Ryan. Marco Rubio is in fourth place and a series of other people are in single digits (Thune, McDonnell, Christie, Jindal, Rice, etc.). Who do you think Romney will pick for his VP, I have created another poll:

http://poll.pollcode.com...

This will be the last vice presidential poll before the convention that I add. My previous poll had these results:

Marco Rubio: 24%
Other: 24%
Rand Paul: 19%
Rick Perry: 14%
Chris Christie: 10%
Rob Portman: 5%
Bobby Jindal: 5%

Furthermore, Intrade still has Obama in the lead with 58.8%. However, they make the mistake of looking into the Real Clear Politics poll average instead of the Elephant Watcher poll average. The EW poll average is more accurate than RCP's because RCP follow pollsters, not polls. This gives RCP outdated polls. One is even from a month ago, some several weeks. By contrast, the Elephant Watcher poll average is more accurate and has Romney winning with a 1.4% margin.

It will be Paul Ryan.

I barely know who Rob Portman is. My guess is that Romney will pick Tim Pawlently (T-Paw) or Paul Ryan, the former being a safer bet.

I can't think of a better way to secure the election for Obama than choosing Santorum as VP.

I'd launch into a parade of colourful adjectives on the disingenuous fiend that is the "real conservative," but I'd much rather define an economic conservative- which Santorum is not.

Keep voting!

You didn't have T-Paw on there so I chose my second guess, Paul Ryan.
