"Every scholar who has ‘switched' has ‘switched' to the side that is skeptical of controls. Indeed, most of the prominent academic voices who are gun control skeptics—including law professor Sanford Levinson and criminologists Gary Kleck and James Wright—are people who, when they began studying guns, were supporters of the gun control agenda."

there really isnt a gun control debate going on anymore. Even after all that stuff went down in Colorado regarding the batman theater shooting, public opinion about gun control barely changed at all

I am talking about academic debate. John Lott and others still publish studies on these subjects, and I am examining economist and criminologist debate/opinion.

On a side note, the word "bear" at the time of the constitution means "carry". So keep and bear arms means you have a right to carry and have guns. I found that interesting btw. https://docs.google.com...

You seriously didn't know that? What did you think it meant?
Think'st thou heaven is such a glorious thing?
I tell thee, 'tis not half so fair as thou
Or any man that breathes on earth.
