Answer 12 questions that were part of a national survey conducted by the Pew Research Center, and find out where you fit on the partisan political spectrum.

NOTE, this is a different quiz than the political typology quiz.

I was surprised that I got a Conservative Republican. On the economic issues, it revealed that I was very conservative. However, the social issues said that I was a solid liberal. I guess this reinforces the fact that I'm a Libertarian!

Apparently I'm a conservative republican.

I'm almost completely to the left even though I said that poor people are too dependent on welfare.

I was extremely far to the right taking this test, though I was right in the middle on social issues.

Gotta love 2 dimensional political charts- the only place where LK could get a far left score on anything.

Socially very far Left - Give me freedom or give me death.
Economically - slightly left of middle.

There were a couple questions economically I didn't quite have the choice I would have liked. Like the Does Regulation Hinder Business. I would have like to answer, yes some times it does unnecessarily and some times it is needed, so I am probably closer to smack dab in middle on Economic scale.

Someone should point out the false dichotomy, but anyway.

Economic issues, way far left (closer to "very liberal" than "liberal democrat") and a moderate conservative on Social issues.

Hard right on economic issues, far left on social issues. Near "Certain Romney". Right wing libertarian.

Witnessing a legitimate, thoughtful evolution of one's political ideology is definitely a rarity.

I know right. Romney disgusts me concerning social issues and personal liberties. Seriously. Doesn't mean that I support him.

No, this has more to do with you switching your economic position 180 degrees.

Oh that. Well, I was open to different opinions, and was eventually "converted", but mostly changed in a matter of a few days. Punishing the businesses that create the jobs is a pretty basic "no" in economics.

I find it misinformative how they put "Average Democrat" and "Average Republican" so far apart on the scale. All surveys show that they are actually very closely related on most issues.

I also think any attempt at a political spectrum which puts people only on a left-right line is idiotic.
