Would he be a good fit?
What do you not like about him?
Can he win?
Is there anyone who is better?
(reminding people that Ron Paul is not going to run...)

I think..... it's two and half year before the candidates even will nominate themselves, so it's a bit early to speculate.

Ron Paul is a hypocrite racist nutcase, and is likely to be only marginally better than George Bush, so thank your lucky star he isn't gonna be president.

That said, I think that Mike Huckabee would be an excellent presidential candidate, because he has absolutely no chance of winning. He is an isolationist, crazy Christian creationist who is against all things that are good an moral, and one of the few leading republicans that would be a worse president than Ron Paul.
So prove me wrong, then.

"In an interview with GQ, Huckabee said, "There's never been a civilization that has rewritten what marriage and family means and survived." "

--> Yeah because Canada is on the brink of collapse.

"Huckabee supports a larger military and a fifty percent increase in defense spending"

--> Is this guy serious?

"Huckabee is willing to consider using military force against Iran"

--> 0_0

"Huckabee believes that the land of Israel was promised to the modern-day Jews by God"

--> Again, 0_0

"Huckabee stood by a decade-old comment in which he said, "I hope we answer the alarm clock and take this nation back for Christ.""

--> 0_0

"In the same interview he said if elected, he would have no problem appointing atheists to government posts"

--> Oh wow how revolutionary

"Huckabee stated that if elected, he would make the US "energy independent" by the end of a second term. His plan calls for conservation, exploration and the pursuit of alternative energy. He specifically mentions nuclear, wind, solar, hydrogen, clean coal, biodiesel and biomass and he supports federal research and development of these energy sources."

--> This I give him kudos for, especially since he's running on the Christian right wing

"As Governor, he granted 1,033 pardons and commutations which is ten times more pardons than Governor Bill Clinton granted during his tenure.[8] Of particular note is his leniency toward inmates who had been 'saved' or 'born again' while in prison"

--> 0_0

"In one 1996 case, the abortion clinic that performed an abortion on a 15-year-old Arkansas girl who was allegedly raped by her stepfather was denied Medicare reimbursement by Huckabee."

--> 0_0

Please dont' vote this guy in America.

Nazi Germany - Leader: Adolf Leader - Nazism/National Socialism

USSR. But the USSR had not choice... so what's your point? And everyone knows that the USA (Capitalist) was the biggest reason the Allies won WW2.

I'm actually lolling fairly hard right now. I will admit America played a crucial enough role in the Pacific, but the Soviets could have probably mopped up Japan after taking out Germany and Italy.

Anyhow, America pretended to be on the allied side by selling them weapons until they're banks ran dry, then giving them huge loans they only payed off recently. The Soviets could have easily defeated Germany without Germany. America not so much. Operation Overlord would have been fail without the Soviets attacking from the East.

Overall I would say the Soviets played a bigger role in ending WW2

Stalin knew Hitler would eventually invade the USSR, he just didn't think he'd attack in 1941. As opposed to America, who were dragged kicking and screaming into WW2.

If the attack on Pearl Harbor had not happened, and America had not entered the war, where do you suppose that the Japanese would have gone instead?

Continued to encroach on the Pacific and invade China. The Soviets had enough troops left in the east to deter the Kwatung army.

I think so. He's a moderate Republican with a good record and somewhat interesting appeal. He would definitely be a good pick, and maybe a good President, granted he gets the right policies, and the Obama Machine doesn't run him over.

What do you not like about him?

He's Republican. XD

Kidding. I'm not a fan of some of his social or fiscal policies, but others I do like. Then again, I know very little - I should find out more.

Can he win?

I doubt it, to be honest. Unless Obama royally screws up, and he has yet to despite the current fiascoes, he won't stand a chance.

Is there anyone who is better?

To me? Not really; Tim Pawlenty isn't that bad, but I can't see anyone really that much better.

I don't like Paul anyways.
