Its fun, and addicting as hell, the states sometimes dont affiliate with the party you think they would but it is a game I highly recommend and think that people on here would really get into.

Basically, you campaign for president by using presidential appearences, TV ads, and polling to get states to support you.

Ive played it at least a dozen times now and my best score was 406 electoral votes on high school level (which was mostly due to a very lucky starting position)

Looks interesting, I will have to try that out.

I would love to find a society or government game that could be playable in a forum like Mafia.

I would like to see how society would form from scratch with all the varying political ideologies we have here.

Way too easy! I got 323 electoral votes on the first try. Won in a landslide.

It's not very realistic. It won't let you change all your stances every week to whatever the voters want to hear. It also forces you to run negative ad campaigns based on what your opponent actually supports, rather than just lying about them? Haven't the creators of this game ever seen a US election?

How do convince people to give up the superstitious belief in government once I take office?

Assassinate yourself? Or ignore any arguments against your fantasy. Either might work.

I did their argument wars game for Texas vs Johnson and I won 1,450 to zip. These games are too easy, but addictive.

Lying can only get you so far. Otherwise each opponent would be calling the other one a murdering rapist. They will exaggerate, manipulate words, and tell lies based on some reality. But they won't straight up lie.

Also flip flopping isn't a win all strategy either. Politicians get bad coverage for it. Kerry lost largely due to his flip-flopping. Romney's probably not going to win either for the same reason.

Yes, but we damn well should be allowed to, considering how prevalent it is in our elections.

That wouldn't get the message out. Maybe I can make the non-aggression principle, free market economics, and human liberty required classroom curriculum.

I still would prefer that you assassinate yourself.........I mean that would be a powerful message.
