The title is more for shock value so don't get your panties in a twist over it. In all seriousness, please explain? Who here supports Romney and simultaneously believes in equality for homosexuals and/or women?

I think only white straight protestant males who own land and are over 35 should vote and have full rights, so any woman or homosexual meets those qualifications they should have full rights as well

Okay but this is not relevant to the thread. What is relevant is the first photo I posted a link to, which brings up very good point. By voting for a Republican who is homophobic and who is sexist, and who has said in the past he will take steps to hinder the equality of said groups once elected, you are saying that this is okay.

The president has almost NO power over ANY social issues of any kind.

Romney has NOTHING against contraception, only that he doesn't think tax dollars should pay for them. Tax dollars should NOT pay for a lot of things. Buy your own damn medication.

Yeah, it is. I love how people slice anti-abortion as anti-woman. Being anti-abortion is being against, what I and many others believe to be murdering innocent unborn children......I don't really give a damn about the moms discomfort, or even temporary pain over someones life.

That's a dumb argument. There have been conservative majorities in the Supreme Court since Roe V. Wade but it still hasn't been overturned. In fact, only two of the five current conservative justices are even against the decision. On top of that, it's not like too many judges are going to retire soon. You'd need three to retire (that aren't Scalia or Thomas, the anti-Roe judges) and three anti-Roe judges to be appointed. But since half the judges were appointed within the last decade, it isn't likely. Roe V. Wade will never be overturned.

So you'd vote for a crappy president in the foreign and economic sector to prevent Mitt Romney from potentially getting the chance to appoint a Supreme Court judge to the bench who may or may not see a case on a social issue you find important during their tenure...?

Because the Constitution sets no qualifications for service as a justice, a president may nominate anyone to serve, subject to Senate confirmation."
