A few issues. Since anyone can sign (as I just did), it cannot be verified that the signers are actually from Louisiana. Also, good luck with the next hurricane.

I know there are some very kind, tolerant, and brilliant people that live in the South, but for God's sake there is an unprecedented concentration of racist, uneducated, fools down there....What in the world gravitates them to right-wing ideologies?

It's not like you said "secession is dumb" and left. You added in calling people who favor secession racist, uneducated, fools. When you make a dumb comment like that I would assume substantiation would at least be suggested but then again hacks can't be bothered so...

I am a Texan, living in Colorado.

But, if I can sign the petition, I will gladly advocate that Louisiana carry its @ss on. Goodby and good riddance.

If you scan through the people who signed it you'll notice that most of them are not from Louisiana, looks like it's the rest of the country that wants Louisiana to secede LOL.

It's not a coincidence that all of this occurs under the first Black President...it's not a cooincidence that they question his Americanism, and it certainly isn't a coincidence that some yahoos would bring up secession even though the presidents actions are precedented and have never warranted such a thing. Then juxtapose that with the poor education standards of the South, the states of which constitute the bottom 40th-50th place in education nationally.

They are uneducated. They are racist. They are seriously stupid people. This has nothing to do with secession itself, it has to do with the context of these comments. Stop thinking everything concerns your irrelevant and ridiculous ideology.

The people who do good during hurricanes are the people who prepare. The people who are stocked up on store-able food for example. The people who do bad are the people who don't prepare. Those are the same type of people who actively put themselves in harms way.

The private sector can do everything the federal government does during hurricanes, only better. The state of Louisiana can also request aid through foreign affairs, from a nation they trade with or are allied with.

Funnily enough, it was the government that effed that up so much, example: they didn't fix the levies.

For education, the majority of southern states are at the bottom (ie. Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Florida, Kentucky, West Virginia, and South Carolina). Majority of northern states are at the top (ie. Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Maine, Minnesota, Wisconsin, New York, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Maryland). http://www.statemaster.com...

For top ten dumbest states in America, Louisiana ranks #9, Alabama #8, Mississippi #7, and Georgia #6. http://www.mainstreet.com...

And yet there were still people starving and crapping in hallways. FEMA is an abomination. Everything they do can be done by the private sector or the states. Also allot of stuff they do wouldn't be needed if people took personal responsibility. Like supplying food and water, which people should have been stocking up on. Or rescuing dumb a**es who put themselves and others in danger.

Not really, I just don't feel like arguing for a long time how educated is subjective, going to a fancy-dancy college =/= smart/educated, and how most schools and colleges have a liberal bias, and not for the reason of "its correct".

More like, "its hip".

I said I want proof, not the annoying radicals of one side complaining.

If Obama had lost, I'm sure we would have a lot of people being racist on Twitter because of that.

Education levels lower, whatever, but I'm talking about......everything else you said.

Okay, so let the record show that Oberherr has conceded that southern states, the states that voted for Mitt Romney,...are uneducated. Good. Now unto racism, since this genius is demanding proof lol

Not really, I just don't feel like arguing for a long time how educated is subjective, going to a fancy-dancy college =/= smart/educated, and how most schools and colleges have a liberal bias, and not for the reason of "its correct".

lmao. So you don't need college to be educated now! Education is not subjective by any stretch of the imagination. Either you have the requisite knowledge for competency or you do not. Period. The things you learn in college are also not things you can just teach yourself in a few hours. It takes years of reading and comprehension and practice.

So yeah...going to college DOES INFACT = educated.

Most racist tweets following Obama's reelection came from Arkansas, Mississippi, and other Southern states http://www.bellenews.com...

I said I want proof, not the annoying radicals of one side complaining.

Um, no. Those weren't just radicals...the conclusion was based on a pool of such comments...those specified were only examples. They were actually pretty ubiquitous in the South...so....yeah. Think again. http://now.msn.com...

Once again, some tweets from an area that didn't like Obama one bit AFTER HE WON AND ROMNEY LOST =/= South is all racists, and all those other lovely comments you made.
