Alright heres how it works, you write down your name, who you think the Democratic presidential candidate in 2016 will be, who you think the Republican presidential candidate in 2016 will be, and who you think will win. Its as easy as that

Ill start:

1) Imabench: Dems = Hillary Clinton, Reps =Marco Rubio, Winner = Marco Rubio
Kevin24018 : "He's just so mean it makes me want to ball up my fists and stamp on the ground"
Geogeer: "Nobody is dumb enough to become my protege."

The 2014 elections will bring a back a Democratic majority in the house.

In 2016, a Republican will become president.

Hillary Clinton does look like the most likely Democratic choice. Marco Rubio, the most likely Republican choice. I wouldn't give as much likelihood to the Republicans choosing Rubio as I would the Democrats choosing Hillary. Rand Paul will also be in the running for the Republican nomination and, while I think he will have a much better chance than Ron Paul did, I wouldn't place my money on him.

Hillary is not running. Rubio will go the way of Herman Cain. Plus, Rand Paul will expose and destroy Rubio come debate time.

Probably infowars or the back of a cereal box. Knowing the quality of Geo's posts, it could be either.

No way is a republican going to win. The younger generation is Democratic, minorities are increasing, which tend to vote white. More people are dependent on the government, which means that more people will vote Democratic.

The fact that Elizabeth Warren is a women will actually make her more electable to the female population. Remember, Hillary Clinton was almost the presidential nominee. And she did win the mass. election, so its not as if she's too radical to be in office.

No way is a republican going to win. The younger generation is Democratic, minorities are increasing, which tend to vote white. More people are dependent on the government, which means that more people will vote Democratic.

The younger generation is proving to be hardcore fiscal conservatices and the republican party is already revamping its stance on immigration which will help bring the latino vote to their side. Also since Gay Marriage and legalization of Marijuana is becoming more acceptable, they may also take more moderate stances on those issues as well.

The fact that Elizabeth Warren is a women will actually make her more electable to the female population. Remember, Hillary Clinton was almost the presidential nominee. And she did win the mass. election, so its not as if she's too radical to be in office.

The Republican party will certainly paint her that way. Republicans right now may think Obama is a socialist devil, but im betting if they had to choose between Obama and Elizabeth Warren they would flock to Obama.

You hope that the fascist Democrats take over?

At least the Republicans can fathom a sliver of Liberty, the Democrats would gladly strip away every single last one of our rights, send thousands of our young men to die in undeclared wars, turn America into a police state, just give the gays their government benefits for petesake! Get us gay marriage at ALL costs even if it means putting a spy camera in every single home in America and every nuke dropped on every square inch of Earth! That is the current mindset of young Democrats and it's downright sick.

Please do not endorse Democrats.

I'd love to see where people are coming up with the justification for a republican winning in 2016, when even freaking conservative newspapers in my hometown are saying that Texas could be, at best, a swing state soon, especially with more major cities like Austin, Dallas, Corpus Christe, and so on voting blue (Fort Worth was the only fairly major city to vote republican in the last election, but even that wasn't by much).

History has shown that Democratic presidents are rarely followed by a new Democratic president. Outside of death, the last time a Dem was followed by a Dem was Buchanan following Pierce in 1856. While Republicans have replaced themselves in the White House five separate times in the same time frame.

Of course, party platforms have changed numerous times, but it is an interesting bit of trivia.

The Republicans guarantee no freedom. They don't even want to give you the freedom to marry whomever you choose. You think the Republicans wanted to repeal NDAA and the Patriot Act? The Republicans liked the Patriot Act and the NDAA. They pushed it through Congress and Romney expressed support for both. Your civil liberties are being violated regardless of who is in office, so you might as well vote for civil rights.
