"Martin Luther King owned an arsenal of guns and often carried a concealed handgun.

The very first gun control laws in America were put in place by the KKK ( http://libertylawsite.org...) . Gun control is racism. Gun freedom is equality. A gun in the hands of a free black man makes him an equal to a free white man, according to the laws of physics. This is why the Second Amendment first benefits African-Americans, and secondly everyone else."

"By screaming about how they wish to destroy the Second Amendment and disarm the American people, collectivist media gun grabbers and "school shooting doomsday" fear mongers have managed to do exactly what they hoped NOT to do: They have pushed millions of AR-15s and hundreds of millions of rounds of ammunition into the private hands of Americans.

Over the Christmas holiday, I spoke with a friend who owns the largest retail gun shop (and advanced tactical shooting range) in one of the largest U.S. cities. He told me, "Our store sales have been $100,000 a day since the Newtown shooting." On a normal business day, his sales hover around the $10,000 mark, so what we"re witnessing here is a 1000% increase in gun sales."

Damn I totally missed that in my physics lectures. Must be one of those strange laws that go against classical physics.

The physics of a bullet having the ability to stop any human dead in his tracks is shared when both people have a firearm.

Bump for the anti-Constitutionalists.

People who want to ban all guns can't stand Martin Luther King Jr., Gandhi, and George Washington.

It worked out real well for him. His guns kept him safe long enough to succeed and complete his Civil Rights movement.

I didn't say that, I was quoting Natural News. Read the quotation marks.

Until that fateful day, when he forgot to pack heat, and his assassin, noticing the lack of a bulge on his target's hip, fired without fear that our protagonist would scoop up his brains, pull out his piece, and exact vengeance.

There exists no 100% guarantee of safety.

Why don't you ask George Washington how well guns worked out for him.

A conceal carry weapon wont stop snipers, but the normal citizen is more at risk of a mugging where a handgun can be useful. Even so, many assassins use other methods. It's actually more expensive to hire a hit man in states with less restrictive conceal carry handgun laws.

Yes, his guns worked out for him; not so much the English conscripts who dared subject the fruits of slavery to taxation.

What does MLK have to do with gun control. You are a flaming idiot.
