Obama: I wanted to get reelected so my kids can be protected by men with guns, but I want a total gun ban like my home city Chicago.

Diane Feinstein: I carried a concealed weapon to protect myself, but I want to disarm all American citizens.

David Gregory: My kids are protected by heavily armed men at school but I don't want your schools to have armed men to protect your kids.

Michael Moore: My armed bodyguard was arrested at the airport for having an illegal weapon, but I want to take all your guns and you are a racist for liking guns.

Mayor Bloomberg: I like armed body guards to protect me, but all you citizen scum must be disarmed and not protect yourself.

As usual, misleading sensationalism.
Disarm =/= banning of certain guns

I do not agree with these politicians, but to say they are striving to disarm is a stretch. I have heard no one talk about banning handguns, only assualt rifles, or what they consider ARs to be.
My work here is, finally, done.

Listen closer. All semi-automatics and guns holding now than 10 rounds. That's nearly all guns except an old school revolver from the Wild West.

"The proposed new law by Feinstein would:

- Outlaw all AR-15s and anything resembling an "assault rifle," including .22LR varmint rifles.

- Outlaw ALL semi-automatic rifles, period.

- Outlaws nearly all handguns.

- Allow you to own "permanently disabled weapons." That's your new Second Amendment right under the tyranny of the federal government.

- Massive funding expansion of the ATF to conduct raids on gun owners, during which the plan is to have the government murder and / or arrest and imprison all gun owners."

From your source:
Protects legitimate hunters and the rights of existing gun owners by:
Grandfathering weapons legally possessed on the date of enactment;
Exempting over 900 specifically-named weapons used for hunting or sporting purposes; and
Exempting antique, manually-operated, and permanently disabled weapons.

This is not disarming. You are engaged in hyperbole.
Guns can still be bought and sold, and 9MM can have less than ten rounds per magazine, plus glocks.

If she gets her way, Americans can still protect themselves from each other and hunt. Fighting off the army will be more difficult, though.

For the record, I know next to nothing about guns, but even I know this is far from disarmament.

Even if this were to pass, which I hope it doesn't, do you not think ammo manufactureres will sell 10-bullet clips? Perhaps devise a way to chain them together or find a loophole in the law that can be exploited?

Plus, there is the possibility that this is all talk to score political points, and have little intention of passing; politicians do, after all, exploit tragedies all the time. This could be an aggressive bill that INTENTIONALLY has no chance, or desire, of passing, simply to paint Republicans in a corner in an effort to win more seats.
My work here is, finally, done.

If she gets her way, Americans can still protect themselves from each other and hunt. Fighting off the army will be more difficult, though.

Good point, but this part is concerning:

* Bans the sale, transfer, importation, or manufacturing of:
* 120 specifically-named firearms;
* Certain other semiautomatic rifles, handguns, shotguns that can accept a detachable magazine and have one or more military characteristics; and
* Semiautomatic rifles and handguns with a fixed magazine that can accept more than 10 rounds.

That's nearly all guns because nearly all are semi-auto, can accept more than 10 rounds, or can accept detachable magazine.

You also left out this part:

* Requires that grandfathered weapons be registered under the National Firearms Act, to include:
* Background check of owner and any transferee;
* Type and serial number of the firearm;
* Positive identification, including photograph and fingerprint;
* Certification from local law enforcement of identity and that possession would not violate State or local law; and
* Dedicated funding for ATF to implement registration.

Scary stuff but it doesn't stand a chance in hell of passing.

I hope you're right, but what makes you so sure? The Sandy Hook shooting has brought out a lot of irrationality out of people and has resulted in thousands turning in their guns for groceries.

Do you think that the Republican Supermajority House and a number of reasonable Democrats will vote "nay" on Feinstein's bill? I hope that's the case.

It's probably a good thing when sheeple disarm themselves. Guns for food? (sigh). There are a lot of gun owners in both parties who might sympathize with the gun grabbers (on camera) but know full well that the previous assault weapons ban resulted in a lot of elected officials losing their jobs.

Do you think that the Republican Supermajority House and a number of reasonable Democrats will vote "nay" on Feinstein's bill? I hope that's the case.

That's it exactly.
