A Socialist is disgusted by an expensive house and thinks "no one should live like that."

A Capitalist sees that same house and says "everyone should be able to live like this."

Imagine we all lived in the same house. It'd be more efficient of course and we might conquer natural disasters while we're at it...

Capitalist or Socialist?

Actually the socialist sees a big house and thinks "If everyone can't live like that, than no-one should live like that".
The capitalist sees the same house and thinks "Everyone should have the opportunity to work towards that lifestyle"

Then the Rationalist sees the same house and thinks, "most people won't ever afford to live like that because they are goddamn working class."

Nonsense. I'd think on the waste of it but no more. It's not for envy that people are socialist, it's fear.

Not really. The socialist looks at an expensive house and thinks "The money and resources spent constructing such an expensive house would be better spent on more important things, like feeding starving people."

The weak running dog dollar-humping slug capitalist scum thinks, "Ha! With this expensive house, I shall leech the lifeblood of the protelariat and force the daughters of the protelariat into harlotry so that they may feed their starving children!"

Ideally that paragraph should be said in the thickest Russian accent possible.

I like Sky City 1000 better: http://en.wikipedia.org...

Anyway, anything like that would undoubtedly be capitalist, as people would pay to either own a living area in the Pyramid or Sky City, or rent one.

These are structures that would house millions of people dude. Even if they were built for the market, as regards their being used they might as well be states with all the major necessities for living nationalized.

They don't actually seem the sort of thing that would take off in the markets either though, considering your girly little city. Meh.

It'd just be nice to beat those f*cking Egyptians wouldn't it :P

Yeah, let's give them some lumber and concrete to gnaw on.

A pessimist sees the house as half-bad.

An optimist sees the house as half-good.

An opportunist takes action and buys the house.
