Or are there loads of Republicans on this site?

Lots of people of a liberal* bent. Largely on the right, I imagine. Not too many of them would identify as republicans, but some would. In the sense of active members who identify as being of one party or another probably roughly similar number of democrats and republicans.

*Actual liberal - not american definition of the term.

Extremely happy at proper use of the term liberal.

It's just you.

There are a lot of libertarians on this site (me included).

We libertarians are pretty critical of Barack Obama. That's because Barack Obama has embraced every faucet of statism even more so than past presidents.

Still, if you get to talking about Republicans with us, you will find that we really aren't Republicans either.

All the demographics are at http://www.debate.org...

Party affiliation is 22% undecided, 21% Democrat, 17% Republican, then others each <4%.

Conservatives + Libertarians is about equal to Liberals + Progressives + Socialists.

Well, most people on here seem to be too cool for political parties, especially American ones.

As for me, right now I still identify with the Libertarian Party, but I'm pretty sure I'll be registering as a Republican come next year.

There are a lot, you can tell by just looking at some of the percentages on the opinions section of the site. However, I think that people on this site are more libertarian bent. This means economically conservative but socially liberal. They want lower taxes and less regulation but want gays to be able to marry and abortion to be free. I for one and economically and socially conservative(just putting that out there).
