I would like varied opinions on this, both pro and con censorship, considering I'm some spoilt, uninformed brat, especially through the eyes of the instigators of this issue. How and why would it it affect you (or otherwise)? Should it take place? How do you feel about it?

I got this after looking at someone who would be relatively complant with someone else's actions, which inherently wouldn't cause much harm, but can be somewhat pervasive (I may be pointing out who it is, but I may not elaborate further).

I don't care too much for censorship, although I understand a limited amount is needed. The internet shouldn't be a modern day Wild West. There needs to be law and order on the internet, although every time they try, everyone throws a fit and threatens the Government.

Limited censorship is good. Law and Order is good. A internet free-for-all is not. I'm more scared of the Internet not being governed than my neighbored not being governed.

Basic things like scam protection and punishing people who implant viruses in to your computer that steal bank account info should be punished.

The dark web should be more regulated, dark web is where most child pornography and illegal internet activities occur.

It is a most interesting exercise in futility. Look at Tor. The Internet has a way of skirting any attempted regulation.

The problem with discussing regulating the internet is that the internet has become the most power tool for f***ing you over if you disagree with them. That's it's biggest problem...It has power and it abuses it. If it wants to be free, it has to control itself and not make itself a threat the government must be rid of (Anonymous, cough cough.)

It's not smart to antagonize your own downfall. If the all-powerful internet cant control itself, the world Governments have to. It's too large and too powerful to be let loose. Don't become the vicious pit bull let loose that the pound has to put down.
