I started it most of the way in, you just get the juicy part:

He's had better moments, like the Piers Morgan interview... this was nothing by comparison, though hearing 9/11 conspiracy stuff is usually pretty amusing

This Morgan interview is classic though:

Sorry, I was a bit ambiguous, I wasn't focusing on the 9/11 conspiracy thing (the whole documentary was about that), (although that's also pretty dumb). I was focusing on how he goes on and on about he's like Galileo who "discovering that the world is round not flat ." I just found it hilariously ironic that he would misstate such an elementary piece of history on the History channel of all places. I was also disappointed that the History channel didn't pick up on it, or at least point it out.

Yeah I was pretty amused by that. Though I wouldn't say"the History Channel of all places". As much as I like the History channel and find it entertaining, this is the same channel that produced the "Ancient Aliens" documentary. If you want to see something funny, watch that.

It is not inaccurate to suggest that Galileo discovered the Earth was round when indeed he was the first person to use a telescope to prove the Earth is round. http://www.ask.com...

If Alex would have said Pythagorous, people would say "no idiot, it was Galileo."

How retarded are you?

From your source:

"Galileo proved the earth was spherical in 200 A.D. after an ancient Greek astronomer Aristarchus, 300 B.C. believed the Earth went round. Galileo measured the angle of the sun in different geographical locations and proved that the world must have been spherical."
"Easy is the descent to Avernus, for the door to the Underworld lies upon both day and night. But to retrace your steps and return to the breezes above- that's the task, that's the toil."

Presumably you're not talking about this Galileo - http://en.wikipedia.org... - who wasn't alive in 200 A.D. to prove that the earth was spherical but who is accredited with proving the heliocentric model of the solar system and was subsequently tried for heresy by the church and placed under house arrest. Strange how similar the lives of these two Galileos were...

To say that Alex Jones is making an utter fool of himself implies that there are times when Alex Jones is NOT making an utter fool of himself, which is an incorrect assumption to make.
