I've been thinking about this for awhile, and our Terms of Service laws clearly are broken. Basically, a company can put down anything they want on a document, apply it to whichever state, and it becomes legally binding once accepting.

Whats wrong with this you ask? Well 1,000,000's of people are signing up for stuff they aren't even reading, and I'm sure we've all violated a TOS once in our lifes. So lets be realistic. The TOS needs to be decriminalized, to maybe a small fine or something, unless it involves serious things like distribution.

This is not a new idea. People have been pushing for laxer TOS laws for a long time, but the truth is, unless its a big issue, it wont pass through congress. They simply don't have a clue on what a TOS is.

Anyways, if anyone can find me a bill in support of this, please link it to me. If not, then I'll right the damn thing myself.
