Read all that's happened in the past 30 days and tell me that peace isn't slowly disintegrating. The international and national institutions that have kept this world running are falling a part.

In a world where weapons are so advanced, that wars can result in 10,000's of casualties in a day, I fear the worst

well then by that math, it will take a mere 710,000 days till the extinction of mankind.

I told you the political forums would suck you back in :)

Of course peace is disintegrating, the stage is being set for the major war between the east/west. Did you not catch the front page picture of Vladimir Putin sharing a toast with Chinese leader, Xi Jinping the other day? Although the agreement is only over gas, it's a blatant show that Russia has other options aside from the European market. It's a win-win for China as well. It's pretty easy to see where the cards are falling.

I totally believe the world is going into a cold war. We already have three clear cases......

- Western backed Syrian rebels vs Russian backed Assad regime

- Western backed Georgian government vs Russian backed Abkhazia/Ossetia states

- Western backed Japan vs China for Senkaku Islands

- Western backed Vietnam vs China

- Ukraine, duh
