Moral of the Video: Public school is bad.

Get home schooled then. But don't make it seem like not going to school at all is better than going to public school, because it's not.

What makes a school a school?

So... what's there to destroy evil inside of and above the constitutional government?

A school is an institution designed for the teaching of students (or "pupils") under the supervision of teachers, according to the omnipotent being known as wikipedia.

Oh, you mean classic liberalism. I'll bet he's talking about modern liberalism, though.

Why haven't you changed your profile's ideology to libertarianism?

Not directly. But close enough. I'm a mix between consequential libertarian and classical liberal right now, which would most certainly go in the libertarian category.

I think that this site should expand both categories.

Yes, I do. Wiki knows everything, never insult it.

Ehh. Libertarianism can mean a lot of things, classical liberalism is very specific, and not necessarily libertarian.

that doesn't really answer the question. :/

isn't it more likely that people who use the word libertarian to mean something other than "classical liberal" (discounting their specific applications of principles historically in favor of the principles themselves) are simply misusing it?

No, not at all. I know people like Ragnar_Rahl and wjmelements and Reasoning and mongeese are libertarian yet they aren't classically liberal.

The same way that people who believe in a god all don't believe in the same god.

if you read up a bit i specified that when i used "classical liberalism" i meant the principles not their application. the fact that people differ on the how implies only that some of them are right and others of them are wrong in terms of how the goal of maximizing liberty is to be achieved. that doesn't mean that libertarian means something different than classical liberal or that it has no specific meaning.

if you want to take "classical liberal" to mean the specific positions endorsed by specific 19th century liberals on specific issues thats different, but i think misses the point. the specific conditions of modern life are different; it only makes sense that the specific positions would differ.
