Do you agree that few Politicians make this earth a living hell ?
Millions perhaps billions of people suffer because of few men in power.

Like the Iranian President Ahmedinejad who should have never been elected is running the State. They are not doing anything in the interest of the people but doing what they like.

I don't think people of Iran want Iran to be run this way.

Sure. That's the danger you get when too much power is concentrated in the hands of a political elite. When there are zero safeguards against that kind of accumulation, things like Iran happen. Because in all honesty, if the state apparatuses in Iran were not completely under control of the authoritarian Ayatollah and his council of clerics, and instead Iran had a liberal democracy more or less, Mahmoud wouldn't be in power right now, because no elected politicians in a country where the executive and the legislature are not the only ones with power would have held against the kind of uprising that occurred.

Wow.!!! So you compare all politicians to islamic leaders of iran.?
In your view achmadinijod is like obama?
In your view one governing a nation providing freedom rhrough constitution,is like one kiling its people through jihad.?

Any sincere muslim must recognize the Land they call "Palestine" as the Jewish Homeland, according to the book considered by muslims to be the most sacred word and Allah's ultimate revelation.

Which nation is the first one again? I don't see it on the map.
It came to be at its height. It was commanded to command. It was a capital before its first stone was laid. It was a monument to the spirit of man.

In the workplace I am definitely for it. As for on a government level I'm still contemplating.

Popular democracy is for people who want eternal stagnation and deadlock. That would fit these "socialist anarchists" perfectly.

Switzerland has a representative democracy.

The core basis of the Swiss government is its legislature and its executive, both which are elected as representatives of the people. These representative institutions propose laws and constitutional changes and govern as any other democracy doe.

The key difference is that Switzerland allows for all laws and changes to be challenged by referenda. However, that is not "direct democracy": it's just a way of letting citizens have more control over what their representatives do. It doesn't always lead to good things, either. Banning minarets is a good example of this failure. Or California's failed system.

Popular or "direct" democracy is where laws and the executive are essentially vested in the collective wisdom of participating voters, who choose everything by vote and where representatives have little or no power, or don't even exist. Nothing like this exists in the world.

Yea, like their minaret ban. I'm pretty sure that was done by referendum... Islamophobes. :(
