With a clear Republican supermajority, I see two major messages coming out.

1. The Republican strategy of running counter to Obama works. This means that people like Biden or Clinton, who could be easily associated with Obama, will likely not be successful for 2016 because the Republicans could easily run the same strategy against them.

2. The "War on Women" narrative does not work. It was basically all Wendy Davis and Mark Udall ran on, but it appeals to a small niche of people, many simply don't buy it, and they lost. Miserably. This means that Hillary Clinton would need to dramatically rebrand herself in order to win in 2016.

Thoughts? Other potential implications, analysis, etc.?
