I have been doin a fair bit of research into this chap and I gotta say I'm in awe of the geezer! He is hands down THE best U.S politician. Listening to him is like listening to an old-style British Labour party man, a socialist. His stance on privatisation, unions, healthcare, war, housing and most other issues would sound perfectly at home in British socialist cabinets of 1964-79. He is realistic, passionate, well informed, egalitarian and above all a true democrat.

I'd be interested to hear others opinions on the man.

He was respectable, until he flipped on healthcare after riding on Air Force One.
: If you weren't new here, you'd know not to feed me such attention. This is like an orgasm in my brain right now. *hehe, my name is in a title, hehe* (http://www.debate.org...)

Just in case I get into some BS with FREEDO again about how he's NOT a narcissist.

"The law is there to destroy evil under the constitutional government."
So... what's there to destroy evil inside of and above the constitutional government?

Just the fact that Air Force One had such a controlling influence on him.
A president that controls the Congress is screwing our nation.
In the relationship between Obama and the rest of the U.S..... I think the U.S. is getting the short end of the hockey stick.

He flipped from "It's not statist enough" to "meh, it's as statist as I'm gonna get I guess."

I'm sorry to hear about that really, certainly not the impression I got from him in interviews I have seen. He seemed utterly principled to me.

Well, would you rather he socialize some things or nothing?

By 'he', to whom do you refer? I'm pretty sure Kucinich is in no position to 'socialize' anything.

He's a legislator. He doesnt' do it alone, but he's one of several votes on it. :P

I think that the opposite of lol'ing is an awkward, uncomfortable silence.

Kucinich Knows UFO's are real!
One act of Rebellion created all the darkness and evil in the world; One life of Total Obedience created a path back to eternity and God.

Never mind, I worked it out. The opposite of laughing out loud is of course crying in silent. Can't see "cis" catching on though.

Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul are the only two congressmen with any integrity.

And are also the most boldy anti-war.

They both even mentioned being each other's running mates even though they are so far apart on economic issues.

I think that would be epic.

He's at his best when debating other Democrats.

But as a politician, he needs to go. Worst mayor in Cleveland history, and severely overrated as both a public speaker and a district representative.

He does mention his district often, on the floor, but mostly for "recognition" purposes.

He's my congressman, so I've had way too much first-hand experience of him.

That is great, hearing from someone in his district. I have always wanted to know what real people thought.

Bernie Sanders?
