How many political coup d'etats do you need before you guys are happy?

First goes the "Liberals" and Malcolm Turnbull, whose replaced by someone who looks more at home in Saudi Arabia than Australia.

Now Rudd is pushed into the mud, driven over, then backed up over, and replaced with what seems to me a no-name deputy with a funny accent.

Wtf, dudes?

Almost a perfect coup. No phone calls amongst the ministers to decide who was on whose side, almost perfect secrecy. The call was made publicly around 10pm that the PM would force the vote after a party call and he would stand for leadership - come morning he stood aside and Judy Gillard took it.

So uneventful. Our coup's here are so much cooler.

But, seriously, I get why he's gone - but does Labour actually think Gillard is their ticket over Abbott the Caveman?

He tried a last grab support for the left leaning party members over immigration and the ETS - right leaning party members, the majority who formulated this all, shafted him anyway. :P

Lol. Yeah it's not good. She will have more general community support than Abbott I would guess. Election will be called in a couple months anyway.
