Recently saw this article on BBC, not so sure if I could trust the article though (I compressed the link because it was to long for some reason)

I wonder what this will mean to the future of Syria and Iraq: http://bit.ly...

300 million waiting in line to take his place. You aren't going to solve the terrorism problem by killing the terrorists, you will solve it by killing everyone around them who gives aid to them. That's right, millions will have to die. Until then get used to hearing about terrorist attacks every day until the end of time. And if by chance people step up to do what is necessary, history will repeat and we will do it all over again. This is just Hitler all over again, the only difference is it is the Muslims looking the other way instead of the German people and Hitler back in WW2

I agree.

And I wonder who can detect my initial reaction to that (bolded) line?

Um, I am not religious. I read history books and learn from history. History clearly shows how to deal with this problem. What is going on now is an exact repeat of history.

How would we kill millions of people? Could we take the easy way and just nuke the middle east minus israel?

You really don't have to kill millions, if you know how to deal with such scenarios. Unfortunately our current leadership is to worried about how they will look to the rest of the world. So the wholesale slaughter of defenseless people will continue. You have a choice, you can kill several thousand people who support the efforts of ISIS or what ever flavor of the day is or you can watch innocent people be beheaded daily on the news and wring your hands and say what ever shall we do. We as a nation have chosen the later.
