I don't think that labeling all conservatives as comedic is fair.

Seriously?!? Fvck the Huffington Post.
Stewart clearly made fun of and exposed the left as well. Maybe not as much, but often enough to make the headline unfair.

I'll concede that point, not ALL conservatives, but the most vocal one seem to try to outdo each other in making a$$e$ of themselves. Re:

Rick Perry
Ted Cruz
John Beohner

I do find it ironic that a poor news source (Huffington) is lauding a poor news source (Daily Show) while proving itself a poor news source.

Don't get me wrong, I (usually) like The Daily Show, but it oversimplifies issues and takes things out of context often, to make their jokes. That's fine as it is funny, but it is hardly "news". However, I do commend their research team when they go dig stuff up from the past.

You haven't asked me a question in this thread, so I don't know how you are chasitising me for anything. In fact, I found it predictible you have ignored me in three threads until you responded. LOL

Who do you consider a reliable news source?
The source itself for the newsworthy content.
The more in-depth the story is, the more likely it is true, but it doesn't mean it isn't biased or slanted.
I often listen to "both sides" and find the truth often somewhere in the middle. I exercise critical thinking in choosing what to believe.

For example, who many people talked about how the Bush tax cuts only helped the rich. Then, in 2009, they were begging Obama to keep them. Why? Oh, that's right, because they helped the poor, too.

Context is very important in politics, and most people don't give it to you.

Oh, and I usually get my news from talk radio, not TV.
Ed Schultz cannot be trusted, and I have lost faith in Maddow (I liked her radio show, but she's different on TV...the same thing happened to Glenn Beck, too).

On the left, I like Norman Goldman, I think he gives it the straightest, but even he is biased. Thom Hartman is tolerable, but less reliable. Mike Malloy is an awful human being.
On the right, I used to like Jason Lewis, but I think he went rogue when he went into business himself. Even so, the best is Mike McConnell, but I am not sure he is on anymore. So, I'd go with Rush. Hannity is awful and Mark Levine is a awful human being.

I never said Stewart was a journalist. He is definitely an entertainer. His forte is satire. Rush Limbaugh, on the other hand, wouldn't and doesn't understand satire. He's nothing but a bigoted blowhard windbag pandering to ignorance.

I don't think that labeling all conservatives as comedic is fair.

I don't think it's fair either. Especially since liberals seem to just be more creative. Conservatives just take stuff too serious to be funny.

I mean name 1 good comedian that's republican? I know must people respond Jeff Dunham, but Jeff Dunham sucks.

Don't mention anybody other than Ron White on the Blue Collar tour either and I need to see some evidence Ron White is republican?

Let's face it Republicans just aren't funny. I read Atlas Shrugged twice and you'd think a 2,000 page book would contain at least one funny statement but not true. Even with 2,000 pages you'd think Ayn Rand would at least accidently make one funny joke but it never happened.

This is in no way saying anything bad about Republicans. I identify as one when a Democrat is in office but those guys just aren't funny.
