Wesleyan University has recognized that LGBT simply is not big enough to describe everyone who isn't heterosexual. Accordingly, they not invented a new acronym: LGBTTQQFAGPBDSM. That stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Transsexual, Queer, Questioning, Flexual, Asexual, Genderf*ck, Polyamourous, Bondage/Disciple, Dominance/Submission, Sadism/Masochism. They have started to use this term for their Open House building (http://www.wesleyan.edu...), a special living quarters specifically for LGBTTQQFAGPBDSM people. They regard this as a 'safe space' for LGBTTQQFAGPBDSM people, where they can live together in a (lead-painted house) and do whatever they want. This is one of many (totally not segregated) housing arrangements, including the 'Women of Color House', the 'Light House' (for Christians) and the 'Turah House' (for Arabs and Muslims, because all Arabs are Muslims).

I applaud Weselyan for this carefully thought-out acronym. I don't know what a 'Flexual' or 'Genderf*ck' is, but I'm sure they are important enough to warrant initials. I'm also certain asexuals, who presumably have no interest in sex, will love being grouped with a group literally defined by who they like to have sex with. It's also quite progressive the way they organized 'Flexural', 'Asexual', and 'Genderf*ck' to spell out a word that certainly has no negative connotations whatsoever.
We, homo sapiens of the planet Earth, are the people of Debate.org, an online debating website owned by Juggle, and will aspire to increase the quality of debates, polls, mafia on said website, to be sufficient, meeting high standards of success and satisfaction in all areas, to consider it as "great", or superb and spectacular, again for the first time in years

Wow, how did you come across this hidden gem of absurdity?

I just recently became acquainted with the term "pansexual"-- it means attracted to male, female, AND transgender (of either gender.) I noticed that term was curiously missing from that completely absurd acronym.

But then I quickly looked up "flexual" and found that it is another word for pansexual. I also looked up "genderfvck" while I was at it. You could have done the same-- why did your curiosity about this end there? I agree with you about the inclusion of "asexual" in that house, though. Wouldn't asexuals be much more comfortable in the "Light House"?

Bisexuals are attracted to men and women, and pansexuals are attracted to men, women, shemales, transexuals, etc... So basically transexuals are slutty bisexuals, right?

Why does BDSM have its own letters? BDSM is a fetish not a sexuality, amiright? You can be a homosexual and interested in BDSM, or a heterosexual interested in BDSM...

Yeah, I don't want to live with a bunch of people who are obsessed with having initials for their orientation included in an acronym, so if I can just have the normal people housing, that would be great. Not normal as in 'straight', but normal as in 'not having a bizarre fixation on sixteen-page acronyms'.

I really dont like that they are conflating BDSM with non-heterosexuality.

I think LGTBQA is about as far as you can reasonably go. Genderfucked is more of a willful decision to buck gender norms, not an orientation, at least as I understand it. Transexuality and Transgender identity are very close, Flexual and Pansexual are pretty much the same, and BDSM is again a choice and activity, not an orientation.

What's two-spirited?

It's a Native American concept that suggests the existence of two spirits (one masculine, one feminine) in the same body. Someone who is two-spirited is neither man nor woman. I'm not too familiar with it beyond that lol.

How long can people keep up the charade of these made up sexualities? The only sexualities are homosexual or heterosexual.
