No true Scotsman fallacy. Liberals and feminists can be prolife. I am a liberal prolifer. Have you heard of Democrats For Life? Have you heard of Feminists For Life?

That fallacy only applies if they are Scottish. Otherwise, they actually aren't true Scotsmen. So only liberal feminists in Scotland can be prolife.

I think many of the first contemporary feminists were prolife (Susan B Anthony for example).

Yes. Feminism applies to equality of rights based on sex. Abortion applies to the belief on when rights start in the human development process. The two are exclusive.

False. The fallacy was actually coined after a guy who read in the newspaper about one of his own doing something horrible and he was like "No true scotsman would do that." So you actually dont have to be scottish to commit no true scotsman.

But that guy was Scottish, otherwise he wouldn't have said "no true Scotsman" so really you just proved my point.

Saying that liberals and feminists cannot be prolife is the no true Scotsman fallacy. ANYONE can be prolife. I am liberal and prolife: At the same time. Have you heard of Democrats For Life and Feminists For Life?

We've got to teach you a new fallacy to start using.

I already answered the OP and it has been unresponded to. I'm just pointing out the fact that you really like that one particular fallacy and don't mention hardly any others.

Actually no I did not. All I really did was tell you where the fallacy got its name. By definition, it can actually apply whether the person in queestion is scottish. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zzSqL--d_I
