Greene won the Democratic primary race on June 8, 2010, with 59% of the vote, despite very limited campaigning and campaign spending, no website, and no yard signs. WTF!?

People are saying he won because his name sounds like Al Green, the singer.

THis is old. Who cares. This is what the system is meant to do. His name was first on the ballot, thats probably the reason that he won. The republican is going to win anyway.

The thing is, there was another guy who actually campaigned an all. And this guy has some kind of criminal charge against him. The Democratic Party tried to pull out of funding him, but I think they were legally pressured because he paid money to compete in the primary.
It is odd when one's capacity for compassion is measured not in what he is willing to do by his own time, effort, and property, but what he will force others to do with their own property instead.

Who really cares?

(I really do mean that question. I am not tying to mock the thread, I was just wondering.)
