I am reading the history of Medieval Europe and came across the city-states. Example like Milan, Venice and Siciliy

Did the City-states have their own sovereignty ?
What kind of Government did the City-states have ?
Is it possible to have a City-State in the 21st century ?

To varying degrees.

City-State, lol.
It varies per city. Usually there was a powerful few that governed weakly.

There are plenty of ways to define types of government. City-State is in the same group as federation, empire, confederation, kingdom, etc.

Is it possible to have a City-State in the 21st century ?
Possible, albeit unlikely.
in the blink of an eye you finally see the light

Why don't you carry on reading until you find the awnsers to your questions?!
I am voting for Innomen because of his intelligence, common sense, humility and the fact that Juggle appears to listen to him. Any other Presidential style would have a large sub-section of the site up in arms. If I was President I would destroy the site though elitism, others would let it run riot. Innomen represents a middle way that works, neither draconian nor anarchic and that is the only way things can work. Plus he does it all without ego trips.

Vatican City, Monaco, San Marino, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, to name some modern day ones.

I was in Monaco at the weekend as it happens. This is one of the last vestiges of the European city-states, of which there used to be many.

I also went to nearby Nice and I learned that until 1880 that Nice too was a city-state owned by the Duchy of Savoy. Although part of France now, the street names are in French and niçoise: the indineneous language of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur; and the people there still retain a strong sense of local identity.
