Some far reaching rumors have her challenging Obama. This is hugely unlikely and it would pull the party apart. The second part of that rumor is that John Kerry will be made Sec of State - I'd be really happy about that.

A WHAT?
It came to be at its height. It was commanded to command. It was a capital before its first stone was laid. It was a monument to the spirit of man.

The only reason she is Sec. of State is because so many Democrats were sour from Obama winning the nomination. She is not a team player.

I'm not sure, but she's heavily biased in favour of Hilary.

Seriously? She's far more competent than her boss, and yet she sucks it up and does her job. I've never been a big fan, but i do give her credit more now than prior to this position.

Politicians are a disappointment all across the board, and many people are decieved every election cycle. I take it that the GOP is grandiose?...They can't even create a solid platform, so they just say no to everything.

What amuses me is the standard of, "either she does something super-fantastic, or she's done nothing at all."

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that most of you never applied to the same standard, nor would, to a Republican Sec. of State.

Clinton has done a fairly good job in her role, and she's negotiated successful initiatives like START, stood up and commanded a lot of American interests at several conferences (including Copenhagen), and managed the fort very well.

Why must she prove to be the most super-fantastic, game-changing, world-shattering Sec. of State before you guys give her any credit?

I'm okay with a lot of "nos" right now. I seem to be saying no a lot myself. Yes, politicians are always a disappointment, that's why you shouldn't have much in the lines of expectations, nor be turned on by a nice speech or pretty face.

During one year, forget which, Hillary and Obama had a more identical voting record than any other two members of congress. Funny that it came down to them in the democratic primary.
