thats pretty scary qoutes from this article -

- "In 2013, a total of 33,636 people in the United States died, and 84,258 were injured due to gun violence, the researchers said."

- "About 300 million guns are currently in use in the United States, according to estimates."

people terrified the spread of "Islamic extremism" and they cant see their own sh1t in the backyard lol pathetic!!

How many people under the tyranny of Islamic extremism own a gun?

Secondly, of the numbers you quote, how many of those were committed through illegally owned firearms, or some one with a right to a fire arm defending themselves lawfully?

Let's say that's 120,000 casualties caused by guns each year. Considering we have a population of over 300 million, that's actually rather insignificant. You see, 3 million deaths would be the death of 1% of a population of 300 million. 1 million deaths would be 1/3rd of 1%. 125,000 deaths would be 1/24th of 1%. Thus, going by the statistics you provided, out of the total population, LESS (the US population is over 300,000,000) than one out of every 2400 people are casualties (most of these aren't even deaths) of guns each year.
Car crashes result in a smaller number of deaths each year, but a HUGE number of injuries. It's possible that on a yearly basis more Americans are turned into paraplegics or left with brain damage as a result of car crashes than are killed or injured by guns.

The gun problem is overstated, in my opinion.

check the fbi and cdc sites, still not accurate but probably better than whatever you are looking at, now look at deaths by smoking, cars etc

Bet many people on the beach in Tunisia wish they could have had a gun to defend themselves with. Point is if someone wishes to do harm they won't be stopped. Kuwait mosque bombing, read up on that, Kuwait was suppose to have some of the best and strongest security and yet.....

what do you mean by "tyranny of Islamic extremism" taking as example groups like ISIS is irrelevant im talking about spread of Islam europe/amrica or what the media trying to terrify people of... anyone who lives and born within places where wars are raging they react accordingly regardless of religion.

why they own guns in the first place illegal or not (in their logic)... the problem is 1 of 3 americans owns a gun and thats to me pretty scary if someone get mad at you for stupid reasons you know people are stupid guess what will happen. they have plenty reasons to f@ck everybody.

sure comparing it to car accidents it put to shame the damage that guys owning gun causes... but why car crashes take the damage of Islamic extremism stuff of what crazy muslims doing... http://www.washingtonsblog.com...

today the big issue is "Islamic extremism" in the west.... but wait a minute who many died/injured by muslim extremists including 9/11?

what make gun problem to be a real problem is although vast majority of people are normal, you have also different people you know like white supremacists, racists of any kind, Islamophobia, psychopaths, criminals, rapists.... you have huge amount of sh1t out there look there are people are kiling only for envy greed or about little things if you give guns to third of the nation thats a problem. not everybody is the good guy out there.

middle east is a mess in wars and many states are fail states cant even regulate basic things in the country, and for that you dont have to arm the masses to protect themselves, its the job of the police but if you have corrupt governments this is the result...

about Kuwait having strong security? not sure about that but let accept that so having good security doesnt mean there is are crazy people or religious conflicts everywhere in the world we have find similar things... and i dont think Kuwait has probelm of terrorism more than other countires in the west.

And I am making the point that assuming those currently opposed to ISIS being armed would mean the spread of ISIS would be much slower to occuer.

Secondly, of the numbers you quote, how many of those were committed through illegally owned firearms, or some one with a right to a fire arm defending themselves lawfully?

You mean exactly like those engaged in Islamic Extremism? Heck, its been demonstrated those folks don't even need a good reason in which to shoot up a beach full of people.

However, what would happen if perhaps a few of those beach-goers were armed?

Too. Damn. Many.

Back to my dodged point about gun ownership, that being whom may legally own them, and for what reason gun violence occurs. Not everyone is the good guy, but its most assuredly the bad guys shooting -eachother- that never should have had a gun in the first place: they were criminals.
