New recent poll has Bernie Sanders taking the lead over Hilary Clinton in Iowa in a 41%-40% score. With the recent events of the Bengazhi email scandal catching up with her along with her many other issues that she has failed at. Is this one of the signs of the beginning of the end of Hilary's chance and a repeat of an unknown Senator beating her out for the nomination? (http://time.com...)

Certainly he is less well known than Hillary, I just dont think I would describe him as an unknown. I was a fan of Bernie Sanders long before he announced his candidacy...

I think Biden will step in. I am with Bernie, but am not unaware of some of his negatives. If it really is a Trump (or Carson) vs. I am very sure we can get Sanders elected, but in a.... sane match-up, it will be tough.

Clinton... I love the Clinton's, I really do, but I just am not a huge fan of Hillary as a candidate. Her last run make me unhappy with her, and regardless of the nothingness of the various "scandals" I am just unwilling to fight that hard for her.

I agree, out of the GOP nominees, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, and Rand Paul are the only ones I consider legitimate candidates (ones who wont run our country into the ground). If Bernie is going to lose to someone, I would much rather it be to Jeb than Trump.

True, but what about Biden when he went on record a couple days ago saying that he wouldn't have the energy to do it?

I think his statement was sincere. I also think the landscape is shifting. Bernie is kicking a$$, Hillary is having (inevitable) problems. I think he will be tapped, and will run.

I agree. This is sounding a lot like arguments I got into with friends about Ralph Nader. My point then is my point to the GOP now. You don't get a president elected by having better than half of America hate them. You don't get to have your president because all your friends like him.

This Trump run is just a shot right to the foot for the GOP.

Trump is basically executing the GOP for this election and for future ones. When you consistently make belligerent remarks, stand by them, and run for a public office, especially president, and then proceed to have 33 percent of the vote, it's basically just putting a nail in the coffin.

Whoever wins the nom for democrat is going to execute him on election day just due to the minority vote.

They all agreed that they had screwed up on the demographics. The midterm "wins" were only accomplished on record-low turnout.

I know the guys in the backroom know how badly this is going for them. They have tried, but the only thing for them to do is hope that Trump implodes.

I think it's just a matter of time before sanders sweeps it

And I'd be okay with that.

I'm crossing my fingers for sanders just due to it being a free win

Only clinton I like is good ole bill

Clinton was okay, but Hillary would be attrocious. Sanders would be the only Dem I would support. Especially against Trump. We all know Trump is a Clinton Democrat running as a disgruntled Republican.

Trump is a free win lol

His purpose is to be a sacrificial lamb for the democrat Gods above

God, we need smaller gov not balloon it.

I actually like some of trumps policies lol

I just hate him

Key world some. If you actually examine a lot of his policies you can see that they are terrible in general. Everything from Merchantilism to his immigration policy.

Carlson will likely overtake him. Strangely he has been able to gain massive ground on Trump even though he's getting zero media.

I put Carson's chance of a flame-out much higher than Trump.
