It's sad, but I'm not at all surprised that the police and school administrator were too dumb to tell the difference between a clock and a bomb. A bomb requires a charge; that aspect is pretty hard to miss.

It works with the existing machinery of Capitalism, talks and thinks in the existing terms of Capitalism, appeals to just those appetites which Capitalism has aroused, and ridicules as fantastic and unheard-of just those things in society the memory of which Capitalism has killed among men wherever the blight of it has spread."

Yes, it is. This was an impressive effort by an intelligent and inquisitive young man and the pervasive paranoia that has been fostered by the press and the government caused supposedly intelligent teachers and law enforcement officers to act like frightened children. It's sad to think that people like this are responsible for instructing our children and seeing to public safety.

This plainly shows the problem with paying "special attention" to young Muslims who are "at risk of radicalization." Fvcking hell.

If he didn't have inclinations of radicalization before...
Here we have an advocate for Islamic arranged marriages demonstrating that children can consent to sex.
