With Webb out, Chafee out, Biden not running, and O'Malley being a non-factor, this basically cements the Democratic Nomination for president as a two horse race between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

I cant say im not surprised that he dropped out, but I am surprised that someone else dropped out before him, since Chafee hands down performed the worst on the Dem debate last week.

I agree that Webb could have stayed in for a bit. He had a different message, but the conservative democratic is not working right now.

Here is whats killing me right now. Lots of chatter about Sanders VP. First, it is coming from Clinton supporters, and smacks of the same arrogance that made her 2007 rough. They (the supporters) should stop thinking its over. Second, he would not do it, and it would be a TERRIBLE choice.

Chafee is probably the most pathetic candidate for president I have ever seen. Even Rand Paul has more legitimacy than him.

He was a little embarrassing. Not like having Palin, or Trump or.... Point is, I wanted him out before he did any damage.

I don't think he could be all that damaging. He can't talk, he's hideous to look at, he's sanctimonious, his resume is pretty pathetic, and no one gives a sh!t what he had to say.

Chafee next to Clinton is like a little league coach next to Mike Ditka.

Way off topic, but Bernie needs graphic arts help. Hillary's logo is great. Bernies looks like its from 1973. We are Democrats, and have some damn standards!

Yeah I agree, although the simplicity of his logo, I think, lends support to his brand. It's consistent.

In his defense, the fact that Chafee was able to be elected as Senator and later as a Governor has really inspired me, that even people who don't seem like skillful politicians can get somewhere.
