You heard it. After Jindal did a great job in the early debate on Fox Business in attacking his other opponents he has decided to drop out after failing to gain any more support. This continues to narrow the Republican field before the Iowa Primaries begin in a few months. With Jindal out of the race this raises questions of how many more canidates are going to drop out before the Primaries. https://www.washingtonpost.com...

Thoughts?

Yes!

I couldn't agree more. The field really needs to start thinning out.

Bobby Jindal was never a serious candidate.

Yes unsurprising he drops out. Never a serious contender. In my view the serious contenders are trump, Rubio, Bush, Carson and fiorana. I expect most of the huge field to pull out relatively quickly. It's interesting how the republican race is so open and unpredictable with loads of candidates while Hillary Clinton is walking the democratic race against just two opponents.

The Democrat Party is a well-oiled machine. They choose their candidates so you don't have to make any hard choices. They do the same in Governor and other races. The Republican Party attempts to do the same thing: Bush is the chosen Party candidate, but the base is fed up with being told who to vote for (Bush 43, Dole, Gerald R. Ford, Mitt Romney, and John McCain.) After that many failures, George W. being a notable exception, and Jeb Bush publicly seeking a way to win without appealing to his own intended base, the conservative base is making sure the non-party selected candidates stay ahead.
