From CNN Money http://money.cnn.com...:

Risk corridors were established to take property (money) from successful insurers and transfer this property to the unsuccessful insurers, all to gain support from the insurance lobby as a "we can't loose" business decision. This is progressive crony capitalism.

The risk corridor fund ran short for 2014 by over two billion dollars. The government overlords solution "The administration said the remaining 2014 risk corridor claims will be paid out of the 2015 and, if needed, the 2016 collections", Bernie Madoff would be proud.

For coming years the incentives are to not make profits.

Capitalism always tends towards crony capitalism unless there is a moderating influence. There never was a "free market" under the so called "free market capitalism" because the corporations aggressively destroy small businesses and workers' rights.

The moderating influence was individual freedom of association, which Obamacare and previous law effectively eliminated.

Corporations use government assistance to destroy small business and individual rights. No corporation has an ability for require purchase of any product, that takes a government.

This Ponzi scheme should offend everyone.

There is no way to stop them within the framework of the so-called "liberal democracy". It's a democracy by the rich,of the rich, and for the rich. In a capitalist "democracies",corporations simply buy power. People first give up their sovereignty and then the government seizes it. Then the politicians do the same to remain in power, and the corporations take over.

I too do not want corporations controlling people. We are on the same side of the fight. Since the desired goal is to limit corporate influence, their tool must be limited in all uses. If government protected liberty and property of every person, even of the rich, then the rich and corporations would not need to buy power to protect their wealth. Power is only for sale when a government can transfer wealth or provide a special benefit.

How would you prevent power-hungry corporations from buying power? The rich think differently than ordinary people. They do not control their wealth, their wealth controls them (there are exceptions). Therefore, some are bound to want political power. Bribery seems inevitable. You would need to periodically purge the government of corrupt officials, but who would do this? You would need a benevolent dictator who always acts in the interest of the people to restrain the corporations. And what about the military?

The only real solution is Anarcho-capitalism. I would just like to start with the repeal of a few laws, like Obamacare.

Bunch of Obamas AKA female genitalia as a general on Fox News puts it! Not one person will even attempt to defend this provision.
