Ever since America became an ally of Israel the Muslims have considered us to be their ememy.
Some Muslims believe they are at war with America, but they don't wear military uniforms. They wear civilian clothes and try to appear to be like all the local people around them.
When Muslims cross a border to enter an infidel country, only a few of them are terrorists, but still any Muslim foreigner is associated with the terroist attacks, so they are not welcome in Europe, or by patriotic Americans.

Bigot definition: a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.

Sounds like Trump.

Hmmm...lets compare Trump to an Islamic nation such as Saudi Arabia. No Bibles allowed. Anti-nonmuslim, women have no rights, apostasy equals death, no tolerance for homosexuals, and unbelievers are less than dogs. Now what was that about Trump?

So he can keep going, just so long as he doesn't get below the bar of Saudi Arabia? This logic is silly. We, the US, is better right?

It wouldn't take much to be "better".

But it seems a logical fallacy to declare him a bigot for simply wanting time to vet a group that won't allow him, me, or any other nonMuslim anywhere near Mecca.

Again, why base our policy on a nation that we all agree sucks? That is like the worse sort of logic ever. "You won't let us into Mecca, so we won't let you see Mt Rushmore". Its not making us better, just bring us down a little closer to them.

There's a difference between lack of compassion and supporting a system to vet people. We have no idea who these people are. To let them in is dangerous and nieve unless or until there is a better system to know who is coming into the country.

Trump has stated that he has Muslim acquaintences and that he is not shutting down all Islamic immigration into the U.S. He stated he wanted time to vet those coming in well, and that illegal immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally should be deported. Isn't that just smart practice? And I don't even support the guy. Sadly, even he is better than the panzee in office now.

I'm not denying that, but it's a shame so many liberals just ignore what muslims believe in, because their views are just as bad as some far right christian conservative. Bill Maher said it himself.

I'm a theologist who knows that the religion uses deception to overcome the unbelievers. Should we just let this ideology walk right over our culture? You mention American values, but that is the point. Islamdoesn't share "American values". They do not want to integrate or mix. They are not tolerant. They can use taqiyya to give a wink and a nod to unbelievers as methodology to decieve and over come them. Do we have no right to defend against an ideology that belief that believes in cutting a woman's clitoris off, is not tolerant of us, upholds that women are less than men, that says adulterers, homosexuals, and unbelievers should be killed, and believers lying to and decieving us is okay in order to progress the cause of Islam? If Christians started doing this there would be a civil war with the Liberals.

Well yeah, we have more Christians in this country. If you talk about being killed for religious reasons, I might contest that. But personally, I don't feel scared. America is still pretty safe from terrorists.
