I think this election will play out like Canada's 2011 election:
Because all the other candidates were whether mediocre or batsh*t crazy, the social democrat candidate would see a growth in popularity.

Unfortunately no bet there. That is my current horse for the GOP too.

That's a pretty ballsy bet. Do you choose to bet on Sanders because of loyalty or do you actually think he's most likely to win? And if so, why?

1) Because I am a ballsy guy.
2) Placing bets now gets me odds.
3) He is doing much better than even I (a supporter) ever expected.
4) His fund raising it outstanding.
5) He is building a good ground game infrastructure.
*Both 4 & 5 I though he wouldn't be able to do at all.

At this point, Trump just needs a couple more poll points in the early stages to seal it completely, if the GOP field hasn't already by not dropping out en masse.

And anyway. Betting on the speed horse is never any fun for me. You got to watch your horse close and move around everyone.

Though it pains me to say it, I doubt Sanders will win the general election.. or even the democratic nomination. Hillary is performing well in the debates and the polls, and Sanders is just to left for many people (especially swing voters). The general consensus of many of my peers is that Sanders supporters are uneducated and understand very little about the economy. Granted, I live in a conservative area. Hearing so much animosity towards Sanders around probably makes me a little biased, and maybe he has a chance. However, from what I've read, I doubt it.

Yes. I am sluggish after the weekend. Polished off the last bottle of champagne last night.

Boxing is not a sport I have ever had any interest in. When I was younger (before smoking) I was very athletic. Generally could do just about any sport, but never tried that even once. In my last years of HS and during most of college I played tennis. Somewhere in HS I noticed that it was much more fun to be playing the sport with the softly grunting girls in the short skirts than anything else.

He is running a better campaign then I thought possible. He is raising more cash, and building a better infrastructure than I thought possible. Its a stretch (to get the nomination) but I think it is in the realm of possibility now.

All the focus is on the anger on the GOP side. Truth is, there is plenty of anger in the left ranks too. The base is plenty happy with Obama, but are not getting excited about "establishment Clinton" any more than the right is excited about Bush.

History tells us that Jeb Bush will win. The "Party Decides" and they've picked Jeb Bush. Every election for the past 50 years has pretty much confirmed the party decides. When Jeb Bush wins the election, I'll say I told you so, and all you fools will pretend like you never thought Trump would win.

I would like to see Sander's and Trump win though, I think if that was the case somebody like Ron Paul (not Rand) could run as an independent and become president

I would bet he doesn't win. He kind of shot himself in the foot imo by playing down and claiming there's nothing to the Hillary email "scandal" even if he believed that, it's still ammo he could use in has favor. I don't see him as having the ability or will to make himself look better than Hillary, should that matter? no but reality says otherwise. I don't study up on him or follow him, so for people like myself I would say what we have seen agrees with Hillary, there's no real difference in their politics. But Hillary has more commercials and attention from the GOP which is basically free advertising. I haven't seen any attack ads aimed at Sanders which I would guess means no one thinks he's a credible threat. Hillary hasn't attacked him either, so again no threat seen. It is a shame that attacking each other is the way of running for office but that seems to be the way it has been, make yourself look good make others look bad.
