A Quinnipiac University poll released just today gives Bernie Sanders a five point lead over Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire (http://abcnews.go.com...), supplementing Bernie's 14 point lead over Clinton in New Hampshire. (http://www.usatoday.com...)

The same Quinnipiac poll also had Donald Trump retaking the lead from Ted Cruz, who had previously (briefly) overpassed him for 1st place in the GOP caucus earlier in the month and towards the end of 2015. The lead is only a two point one, though, and should really be considered a statistical tie.

Both leads may be slight, but given how absolutely ridiculous the mere *idea* of Sanders beating Clinton in the Democratic Primaries and Trump beating literally everyone else in the Republican primaries might have seemed just months ago, the polls are actually extremely revealing.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but as a Canadian observer I would say that I would be overjoyed if it was a Trump v Sanders matchup happened in November lol. It would probably be the most fascinating election in recent American History

I'm still a total pessimist, though, my heart tells me it will probably be Clinton v Cruz :(

Really? Who do you think the nominees will be?

I mean, the political junkie in me hopes it won't be that matchup; that's relatively boring contrasted with how awesome Sanders v Trump would be.

What is clear, and should be a concern for Clinton, is Sanders is not a joke. If she does not walk away with these two states, she is having some problems.

Sanders talking one, or both, of these states will solidify him in the minds of voters. He still has terrible name recognition outside political junky land.

Though I should note that he's probably going to perform *seppuku on his political career, not sudoku.
